“Fleeing the scene of a twist of fate is irresponsible, doubtlessly deadly for an injured individual at the scene, and can slow down the efforts of investigators. We should discourage it,” Crowe said.

Senator Crowe and the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office partnered as much as shape this law to ensure justice for victims and their loved ones.
“Our workplace sees the devastation a circle of relatives goes through after losing a loved one all of a sudden in a vehicle twist of fate, and which it worsens whilst justice isn’t served to the driver who refused to file a report of the accident,” said Crystal The, Madison County First Assistant State’s Attorney. “Sen. Crowe worked tirelessly with us to craft this degree to cope with this developing problem, and we couldn’t be prouder to have a hand in bringing the ones responsible to their knees.”
